I'm having a hard time getting a fuel card. An investor and I have started our company and being that our llc has no established credit we are having hell with it. is there any fuel cards that are easier to get in with? For now we're using personal credit cards and wanting to get away from that.. all insight is very much appreciated!

Get the bank of america Business credit line and get 3% back, Comdata and Fleet one are good but wont report to your company credit line like Bank of America would.

    i will share this

today, (as with most days) i use "gasbuddy" on my cell phone

TA was 3.879, independent was 3.739

i bought 151 gallons, at a savings of over $20

now, nastc tells me it will guarantee me 8cpg............but i have to join their network for $250/year,

comdata says they too will get me 8cpg, but at the TA i would have to pay $1.50

and this was with my CREDIT card, which neither TA or PILOT would give me cash price, so the TA price would have been 3.939

so i am still bewildered by the "savings" using comdata/nastc/or even fleetone, at this time

Be wary of cards that claim to save you $x.xx per week or year. They use very fuzzy math to calculate those numbers. TAB bank is worth a look. Get a few pennies off per gallon at flying pilots and it's a MasterCard so you can use it at the Ma n Pa stops too. (Which is usually the best way to save on fuel anyways, buy where it's cheaper !)

danny, tab bank just changed virtually everything you ever loved them for

no more cash price at the pump
no more tch free deposits and such

i am getting away from tab bank as soon as i find a viable alternative

and i LOVED tab for years, but since this new roll out of June 1, it stinks
