    Yes don't be discouraged by negative comments. Go do it but figure out what you'd like to haul.
    i hauled gas too, great business so I would suggest you look into chemicals, via tanker.
    Most companies pay percentage plus 100% fuel surcharge.
    I'm leased on with a good company and they let me do as I please. Also, do your due diligence on a truck to buy.
