From Day One - Abilene Motor Express (Richmond, Wytheville, VA)

I was blessed and it happened close to home so I was at my house. But if truck is in shop they will put you in a hotel. When I'd call in to give Abilene update they would ask if I needed hotel. Of course I said no.

 

Well I went ahead and applied. Will probably never hear a word from them but at least I tried.

 

Why do you say that? Never mind, just follow up with a phone call tomorrow, if they don't call you back by noon that is.

 

Sally is out with a family sickness. Sean (I think that's his name) is newer in that seat so he may be a little slower. Call tomorrow, be proactive.

 

Better do it early. Sean will be headed out to Wynne or ABIWYN as it now known.

Talked to Kurtis Jones this morning, waiting on safety to decide who they can bring on he said. Supposed to hear in the next day or two.

 

I am not. Waiting on my 34 leaving after 5am tomorrow. 473m.iles to my drop in OKC still at the Pilot in Pacific MO. I am the ghost of Abilene past. Deuces.

 

George, I wasn't going to ask, but my curiosity is getting the best of me, since you came off hometime, how many miles have you run that you need a reset already? The reason I'm asking is it seems you have used your hours up and not run near enough miles to warrant a reset. Just following along with the miles you post, you should be working off your recap with no problem. Just sayin'

Not meaning to hijack our thread, but if you accept questioning, then you'll gleam some insight from some of us to help you along, your miles and hours don't seem to add up to a reset.
