top paying tanker company

Hello folks. Looking for extensive information about I/C or O/O. What are the best things to look for as far as a lease/purchase program? What would be a reasonable minimum/mile to run for in a lease or own my own truck? Tired of the company driver scene. I'll have 1 yr exp out of the way in about 6-7 days. If anybody can tell me strait up, no bullsh** about their company and how things REALLY are, as well as how to survive driving for them, i'll entertain signing on as a company driver for a while.

I just found out Groendyke pays .52 cpm loaded and .40 cpm empty plus all the other pay we get. But I heard we are getting another raise so maybe that will bring us up closer to that.

 

Trimac pays really well. No complaints there.

 

I did not realize Trimac paid that much. I thought I was doing fairly well. Now I am starting to feel a little short changed....

 

I will do a thread but I need more time, as I want to be fair. Plus it's so hard to directly compare Schneider to Trimac. I'll do it though.

 

From what I've gathered, for the most part pay seems to be a wash when it's all said and done. There's more you have to factor in that equation than simply pay per mile. Some companies pay a lot on the mile but then have an accessory pay package that is lacking. Or maybe their insurance is crazy expensive.

 

That is insane. I would have assumed bcbs employees would get top tier coverage for little or no cost as a perk of the job.
