I totally agree. One Politician in the lime light with the issues at hand rode for a few days with a road man. She literally got involved in trucking because she needed to learn more about the industry from a driver's prospective. She backs us up and very much learns towards drivers for support. Actually, my hat comes off for her because of her motivation in making the roads a better place for everyone. ............Can anyone guess her name?

If you are referring to Anne Ferro and the little weekend ride she took with Leo Wilkins..................let's be clear: she is a beaurocrat; not a politician. She does NOT "back us up" or "lean toward driver's for support"........and she is NOT interested in making the roads better for everyone.
If I guessed incorrectly; my apologies in advance. -
Guessed wrong.

But it was a nice photo op for her. Nothing more nothing less. She overstepped her powers, her role and thanks to the OOIDA she's been reined in. Actually if you read the full letter they sent to Washington, she should be fired because she broke the law.......but we know how that goes.

So tell us!!!! -
Whose her opponent from Maine?
-
Who cares?
The one in the office is the problem. -
Susan Collins (R) she's a moderate conservative unlike Ferro, who's obsessed.

Regulations are all janked up, but I'm only going to be concerned with them until 6 months from 0700 tomorrow morning.

It comes from her calculating that you could burn up your 70 in 5.25 days, then take a perfect 34 to comply with 1am to 5am, then work 12 hours. Our work week is 8 days. The public doesn't know this, and it is intentionally left out to validate her claim for more safety regs
