Starting orientation @ Paschall Truck Lines

Although, I thought the trucks at PTL were average, they had what you needed, APU, inverter; but I was taken for a test in an old, old Freightliner, has the ignition button on the bottom edge of the dash. Never been in such an aged truck in school or training. Threw me off...failed...

 

They no longer use the freightliner only the prostar now.

 

I know one thing their drivers are agressive as heck followed one for several miles through a couple work zones that were set at 45 mph, and he never let off the accelerator 66 mph all the way through got out of it and tailgated 3 cars within a mile about a foot off their bumper, got it on dashcam and sent it to their safety dept, no doubt he will be replaced by a driver in orientation this week.

 

The first day of orientation along with the physical if you don't need physical still drug test that morning if you have to ask shouldn't go in.

 

Hello i understand that during Phase 1 of training your with a trainer...but with Phase 2 are you with a trainer or another student driver?

 

I hear that phase two is with another student.
