A couple of these

 

picked up in mosses lake,wa took to carlesbad,nm had a lot of extra trl they could of put something else on me, load was a little over 13k

 

Maiden voyage with the step deck today for the first two pics. Second load of the day on the flat for the last pic. I dropped the step off at our shop when I was done with it tonight. It will have another tool box added tomorrow.

nice simple 12k lbs wyDOT load. two other trucks going within 10 miles of this drop, they were loaded with 44k each.

the wide loads were cheap cheap cheap. maybe sept. will be better. brokers won't be so tight.

 

So this was how they unloaded it. Slung 8 at a time, then sailed them up to the roof. Only took 2 hours total with everything stowed and ready to leave.

I didnt get a chance to get better pics of the beautiful 4800 tandem steer Western Star, no time, I was blocking the one way street.

 

so any panhandlers hassle you? trying to give directions or sell you stuff?

 

No, it was in a surprisingly clean orthodox Jewish neighborhood. It was nice and quiet all morning until the traffic at 6. The roads and highways were deserted when I rolled in from 1:30-2 am, not a bad ride in.

 

Shawano, WI to Baltimore, MD. Dropped trailer at the port and bobtailed up to the T/S since broker didn't send me updated dock receipt when they changed ships and didn't let anyone know until after I tried checking in yesterday. Have to wait till Monday now.
