anyone with colonial freight right now?

I got a friend that just left there. Told me they force to lease and at 3k miles a week couldn't even break even.

 

I have heard the same thing many times for years. 4 years ago I talked to a old gentleman that owned his own truck and had been with them many years, he had the same thing to say about their lease program, that no one could make it, that operating cost was to much with one of their trucks but with his own he had done good with them.

 

I made a big mistake, believed them! I got on bus to Knoxville after seeing add "home weekends, make $1100 - $1300 a week" should have known to good to b true! Everyone there at Colonial Freight CFS is a liar! I stayed with them 8 weeks, and made them a lot of money, but not any for me! And I knew it wasn't going to get better just worse, cause maintenance on that truck, tires, anything comes out of my pocket and I wasn't making enough to save any!
I turned truck in at Knoxville as asked, not a thing wrong with it ( only 8 weeks I drove) then I didn't have a way home! they wouldn't help! Ruby McBride owner lied to my face saying they didn't have an account with any car rentals and couldn't help me. the next day and $70 wasted on a cab I went in crying for help and a lady picked up the phone and gave them CFS account # at enterprise car rental and rented me one for $379. which I am sure CFS made money off of, i had to give them the cash to get it done! they had $350 of my $ in escrow account and a $100 deposit on the pre-pass that i am supposed to get back upon returning. i drove 2000+ miles from CA to nashville, TN and got paid NOTHING! then told I owe them $146?.?? so I am not getting paid for a weeks work and not getting my money $450 that is mine!!! consider yourself warned!
