Start Googling things like http://www.snowbirds.com/ . Good luck staying in FL, or being home every night. Try the whole Snowbird thing back and forth North to South and vice versa. Lots of competition, even from 11 car stinger day cabs that do the hotel thing at night, not the bunk, just to fit on that extra car for the seniors. JMHO.

Stay positive, there are local freight jobs in the TriState that get you home almost every night. You may want to look in to insurance work / auction work. Check out the Copart web page and see how to become a hauler for them. 3/4 car hauler looks good but it's a big investment with limited capability.

    I have a Volvo 42T and drive about 120k miles/year - for me the repairs are about $10k -$15k /year - so $0.13/mile

    Gitana Thanks this.
