Just wondering, you're a new driver and already have your own truck?
-
Just a few questions:
How long have you been driving?
Who do you drive for?
Whose name is actually on the title... yours (alone), the bank, or the leasing company? -
Did you get talked into a lease by one of those megas? Good luck and listen closely to what people on this forum tell you?
-
I actually bought the truck non finance right now I am doing port gig but wondering what should be my next move the truck is a 96 kenworth t600 cat engine. I have been trucking for about 1 year and half now..
-
I want to get into flatbed I know I did flatbed crane truck for 4 years
-
Why aren't you happy with the port gig? Not enough money or what? Be more specific if you want people to give you advise.
-
Be the first one rolling, an the last one parked. Save money like crazy, limit personal pay roll. Maintain your equipment an remember Uncle Sam an you'll be fine. Don't make any major changes unless you have a nice bank roll for it too.

I would post more detailed information on your current operation. Are you leased or independent? What's your gross and miles now? How many miles are on your truck and current condition?
I am assuming you are wanting to go OTR?
