Read the fine print on ALL WARRANTIES ... if your looking for warranty id go NEW .. Because most warranties have a step down period at certain thresholds depending on OEM. Check with your rep on warranty specs

I see the point of warranty but most of them say that will not void the warranty. Also I thought that if it did cause something to mess up that the by pass company would be responsible? I guess it is what it is and I can't change that. Now onto more important things go have fun with my rugrats.

They wont void the warranty as long as you have the test results.... Starting with a test as soon as you get the truck to set a baseline of what is in the oil....

Remember what is considered a warranty can mean a bunch of things. SFI tells me I have a "warranty" on my engine until 400k, but in reality its only on the major internals of the engine and it says nothing about the cost of labor being covered under warranty. Turbo? Nope. EGR cooler? Nope. External leaks, etc? Nope.

Just something to keep in mind.

The warranty is only as good as the paper it is written on if that. I understand what you are saying though.

That is part of why I went new. I had a used truck in the past I bought from Freightliner. While it did have a decent 2 year warranty, it was still limited.
