I opened up the PM-ME for guys who wanted to ask me private business questions about
Trucks
Business
Taxes
Truck Specs
& SNI
ive been asked 50 things not related to SNI and probably 10 that are . And no one has been asked for referrals etc .. I hope one I've helped will chime in .
My truck number in my signature is actually the schneider orange limo .. Lol
I'm just a driver like everyone else -
i was trying to be funny in my previous 2 posts cause I wasn't sure if you were actually serious or not .
The answer to your Question is .... NO
I am a OWNER OPERATOR just like your self . The PM method I put into place was structured to help guys out who were wondering about Business Questions , Trucks , and yes SNI .. Something's people don't want to talk about on a public forum .. Most of the people I have helped stay in touch with me now via texts etc ..
I just opened it up to help folks out ... IM NO RECRUITER ... Not in the least ..
Truck 38491 is a Green 2006 Century I'll post a picture of it tomorrow in day light ..rickybobby and harlycharly55 Thank this. -
Jar head is not a recruiter. He is only trying to help people trying to make decisions. I'm a former Schn driver and the info he's posting here is good information. Personally, I will not drive for Scn as company driver because they do NOT have an APU. I froze my ##### off several nights because the bunker heater went out and the truck would NOT idle. I do have a offer from Scn to lease on as an owner operator... I know a guy that is do a lease purchase thru sfi. He likes it and seems go be doing well considering he goes home every weekend and manages to stop by the house once or.twice during the week
russellkanning and Jar-Head Thank this. -
Also, I have seen the scn load board and I talk to my friend on a regular basis. Run the NE and you can get 2-3 bucks per mile. The rate out of NE stink. Ex. PA to the SE $1.14 PM. Scn has some crappy and good rates. Every o/o I spoke to at the ATL oc liked the choice program. I talked to an o/o at the W. Memphis OC that said he was having a hard time. This driver was on the mileage program.
I do think federal law requires the company to show the driver what the load pays and SCN does NOT do this. Someone correct me if i'm wrong...russellkanning and Jar-Head Thank this. -
Thanks animal
I apreciate you shedding some light on that I apreciate it . -
Tomorrow I am going to try and post a segment on booking the first load
LESSON 2 - WRITTEN ADDITION -
Thats info I didn't know about the requirement .. Good info
-
The second part of the question I forgot to address ..
I am am leased to SNI now .. Truck # in my sig below -
That is one thing I dont like. Someone can correct me if i'm wrong about a carrier having to show the o/o what the load pays. BTW! U R welcome jar...
