What can or should I expect when I go for my load in the morning? I am supposed to pick up a live load at 0430.

Seriously? They had me leave Denver yesterday afternoon, been down here since 11pm last night. How long do they typically take? I remember seeing something about a wake-up sheet...

Long wait. When is the DLD? Figure to get a call right about then. Stay at the Flying J and crawl in when you get called. Go pickup your trailer and scale, slide the tamdem, scale again if good hit the road else have them remove stuff if over then scale again. Have fun.

Well I would be more than happy to wait at the TS except for the bit about my opti-idle system not working properly. I lucked out in that I got through to a supervisor who sent me out 80$ to get a room, so I am currently holed up across from the J. Not looking forward to the next two days delivering in Texas, both early delivery times, which means night driving for me, and trying to sleep during the day with no AC. Told me I had to get to a terminal for them to re-calibrate the idle system. Hopefully I can get in at Dallas, before heading home.

That place is a effing joke! One more good reminder why I got out of reefer and went flatbed.

Eh, they told me to have tandems all the way back before I even roll in. And honestly whether I try to sleep on the truck there or at the J it's going to be about the same with no AC.

I don't think you want to roll the window down either. Time to buy a fan.

i'm not running w/o ac anywhere.......do you think they would dispatch without a/c??? why should you truck w/o it.... your comfort is much more important. remember you are the one who actually see's the customers and you are the one pulling the freight.......
