Ok.....if u could estimate what kind of rate u think u would get on % what would it be
-
What percent are you running empty? Would you say SNI is about average running empty compared to other companies? Are some accounts more than others since they want to use the same tank?
-
It varies from week to week. This week my total dead head is 280 miles, about 11%. Last week it was nearly 30%.
I would say that 15% is about "average", but there's too many variables.
When I worked for Transport Service a couple of years, my non-dedicated runs would be about the same 10-15% empty. Dedicated was 50% dead head. Now Imagine that a dedicated account here would be the same. -
But I heard yall get a fsc loaded and empty...how does that work
-
Yes, we get milage+the full FSC on all dispatched miles. That is a big reason for me to stay on the milage plan even if they offer the choice option. I make a good deal of money when running empty miles.
-
O okay that is a huge plus....for o/o if its a leak in the trailer or a problem with the trailer do we get compensation for that? And are there trailer rental fees....and the qc unit....how much is that a qeek
-
Trailer maintenance is 100% Schneider (as long as it is not abuse/intended damage). No trailer rental fees, no charge for QC.
-
If there is a problem with a trailer, call emergency maintenance while on the road, and they will make the arrangements to get it repaired.
-
Right on....we dont have to pull thise darn compartment trailers do we?
