Not sure where to start considering my circumstances

Not sure if all companies are willing to work with it but had this situation pop up a few years ago when I went to orientation with FFE.A lady in class had a almost non existent work history and told them she was a housewife and didn't need to work and they let her go with that.May want to check into that.

 

Goto a Cdl driving school like GDA in conyers GA. Talk to the recruiter and they will point you in the right direction and maybe get you accepted on the spot. Then request to go to transport America to team with your boyfriend. TRUST ME

 

This post pegged it. They are not looking for 3 years of job stability. They simply need to account for your activities the last 3 years. You will unfortunately probably have to find someone willing to sign a notarized document backing your story. I would not claim the under the table work. Housemate or family care giver are better and no ties to providing income. And congrats on beating cancer. Good luck.

 

It is a DOT requirement to make sure you were not disqualified from driving somewhere. Just apply to the companies and list your work history with their phone numbers and addresses. If people will sign that you were unemployed during certain times that is all you need. Don't write off the crap companies for training. They will be the ones you get hired on. When you get hired have your boyfriend transfer to them and become a trainer if he can but not to train you. You are better off not training the first few weeks with your significant other.
