I believe just flatbed? ?maybe wrong. They got a a nice rate
-
I wanted to laugh when I saw the topic because a raise coming from Swift sounds like a joke.
I do think they need to consider cpm rates a bit though, people starting out at 25cpm just isnt enough unless single and living in the truck only. OTR drivers who have been around for awhile get what 37cpm? also a joke, needs raised. -
Even being single and living out of the truck 25 cpm sucks. I know cause thats where I started. Pay is one of the biggest problems with swift. I understand that you got to earn your stripes but ####.

thanks kind of curious because I start my schooling in phoenix in july. Quiting a stressful career driving a power plant from the control room. Hate being stuck in a box great money but I get forced to work shift work sometimes 16-18 hours a day and night. want to get out on the road and see the country. I thankfully saved up a lot of money to handle the first year of really low wages. I am wondering what you guys generically get paid at an average weekly after insuarnace and taxes after a year?

havent heard of any raises for me lol. i'll ask my dl in the morning when i see him. i'm as single as you can get
and the pay is low. but i live in the treuck with no apartment or utlity bills. if possible, stay away from advances. i get my pay direct depositted in my bank acct and use debit card to pay for pretty much everything. know what your budjet is and stay in them.

its where I began as well but i had a wife and 2 kids to also support which was very hard, I was close to leaving the company but then got lucky to get on the dedicated account im on now last year and I avg about 44-46cpm

question: is there 120 outlets in the back of the cab of the swift trucks for like a microwave, tv and my xbox?
-
Pay raise is just for Flatbed currently. Its a nice raise and the guys and gals sure deserve it!

No, and no inverters per policy unless you need CPAP.
