I don't know where you guys even have the argument that eld aren't safe.

IT DOESNT MAKE YOU DO ANYTHING. It only records what you do.

So once again it falls on the DRIVER to be safe. Place the blame where it belongs.

 

The argument is with the HOS.

 

Its very much like paper logs but much easier to use. Only you can't lie about when and where that truck was.... and right there is where the liars and cheaters want that competitive edge over honest truckers.

 

its what men who know how to handle their business over sheeple who want others to do their thinking for them

walmart driver was busy racing against the clock, if he had had paper logs he would have been able to safely arrive at his destination without a squawkbox screaming at him and big brother dinging him

 

so if the argument is with HOS and you are busy letting these same HOS have a detrimental effect on your livelihood, doesnt that quite make you the sheeple for following it?

I have Elogs and it doesn't make me do anything.
What exactly do you guys think the Elogs do? From reading these posts you get a image of a guy sitting in the passenger seat with a gun against your head screaming at you to DRIVE BOY DRIVE!

yet every day he lets these same HOS control his life

his choice, gripe and submit, or do what needs to be done to get the job done in a safe manner, as many of us have done for years before this qualcomm technology ruled his life
