Prime PSD Starting 7/21/2014

can i ask you a question, did they ask you to get 2 non family member references to sign a paper telling them that you were unemployed(if you were)? and then fax it to them or bring it to the terminal. i was trying to go to prime but i couldn't get two non family member references, i don't know many people. i asked and they said they won't bring me out because of that reason.
also can you go through all the steps you had to go through from, filling out application to when you were accepted for psd? the stuff they had you do or get

The qualification process is quite lengthy... I didn't go through PSD, but I had to provide tax returns to show that I was self-employed. It's also necessary. Many drivers who have been terminated because of tickets, accidents, etc will attempt to get into another company by claiming a period of "unemployment." If one of these ringers gets in and get's into a serious accident (say a fatality) the easiest liability lawsuit for the survivors to win is a negligent hiring lawsuit. That's quite possibly worth millions, and that's why they are so thorough.

 

For those of you that recently were accepted to the PSD program, how long did it take for you to complete the application process from time of application to receiving your orientation date?

 

It took about three hours from submitting to having a recruiter ask when I could get there for orientation.

 

Ok thanks. After a nearly two week delay waiting on paperwork from a former employer, I got everything to the recruiter last Thursday. I spoke to her again yesterday. I guess I need to call her again in the morning. I don't want to be a pain, but I want to get things rolling too. Need to get an answer so I can choose another route if need be, but Prime is my first choice.

 

Woot! I got my approval and I start 7/7!
