I know this. Like I said; didn't need the fuel on this trip. I have enough fuel to go get next load and fuel in Oregon on next trip.

Did you happen to peek inside and see if it had a stick or auto?

Why? I will be going through Oregon again. I will not be getting fuel here in Washington. Just because I chose not to get fuel the first time through Oregon doesn't mean I am wrong or need to review my fueling habits. Just because I didn't do your way doesn't make it wrong.

The ONLY problem with that philosophy is that if you load in Washington they will not cut weight to allow room for fuel. So if you load cherries and are grossing 80k with 1/4 tanks, you're screwed on topping off. The only saving factor is if you can get through Oregon before next pickup. Nothing sucks like getting a 3000k mile run and having to splash fuel all the way across.

Canceled loads. Change of destination. Relay requests. You never know what will transpire in the course until you get loaded and moving. And even then you never know

I picked up a load, got 10 miles down the road and got a relay request. You just never know.

1 year here just days away.
    $3.66 average fuel cost

Sitting at the J in San Antonio for am delivery at HEB. Hopefully I won't be too long there as they are only getting 6 pallets. Talked to the planner earlier and she said she would "hook" me up. We'll see about that.

This has been the worst trip for MPG since I got the FlowBelow installed last month. Had a trailer with no skirting or underbelly heading straight south in a head wind. Ended up with 7.91 MPG.

There almost a fight here at the Streakin Beacon. Central (Swift) decided to cut the line. The three drivers he cut in front of (including me) quickly rushed his truck to raise hell. They decided it was in their best interest to move.

    How's everyone doing today?

I finally got finished up with orientation an had the meeting with my first DM
keith Sally. Had trouble locating the assigned empty trl on yard but finally found
    it.
They put me under a load heading to Tualati Oregon (Portland). Picking up tomorrow morning at Bama Foods here in Tulsa. It's a 1933 mile run right off the bat. Throught the winds an mountains will try an update y'all how my MPGs look. It doesn't del till next Tuesday so at least there is no rush.
