Title pretty much says it all. I know this is the car hauling section. But I was wondering if you guys have experience finding motorcycle's to haul. From the few carrier's I've talked to they all suggest that no one really likes to deal with loading/securing motorcycles yet I am having a hard time finding enough motorcycles to stay busy. I browse Central all the time and even Uship :( so what am I missing are there any brokers to contact that deal with larger volumes of power sports stuff (street/dirt/atv)... Just looking for some suggestions.

    Thank You

Reach out to the Aussies. They have a special bracket for bulk 'buzz saw' hauling made up. Other then that, apply at the major bike manufactures for work hauling new product. Most new 2 wheelers come in crates for shipping like new ride on mowers. Luck .

Thank You for the quick reply. I am only set-up to haul motorcycles that are assembled (rolling/wheel chock) no room for big crates.

    Also Aussies ??? I am a noob....

Aussies ( Australians ..... ) haul EVERYTHING on road trains. I have seen pic's of Aussie car haul road trains where the last lower deck of each trailer is set up w/ brackets to haul new/used buzz saws. Google it. Try Transportfool.com too.

Hi halexh, Not sure I understand your position, you say you have a business transporting bikes? We have an outfit in Milwaukee, Wis. that has 53 ft. spread axle wagons, and I believe cater to custom and stock Harley's, as I don't think the factory here has delivery trucks for new bikes(could be wrong), and I believe farm it out to this company. It must be a crappy job, as they are always looking for drivers. Power sports(ATV's) are huge, but the motorcycle industry seems to have fallen off considerably in the last years. I don't see near as many road bikes as I did years ago, unless there is a special gathering, like the anniversary dates of H-D, which draws huge crowds. Perhaps check into these gathering dates, as a lot of people don't necessarily want to ride their bikes to these destinations, but fly out and want their bikes there. Good luck.

There's a few companies that specialize in this, but motorcycles are few and far between unless you want to haul out of auctions, I moved a few, but since going to a different trailer, I no longer haul them.

I think I should clear something up I am only set-up to haul 8-12 motos at a time. So that should make it easier to fill a load. Also I have no problem doing auctions/copart etc. How did you get the ones you hauled. Broker/load board ?

Thanks for all the help so far guys.....
