Illegal for police to look at cell phones.

He who has the badge and gun makes the rules...
When I had my wreck,the first thing they asked for was my cellphone.....
Then my logbook and then if I was alright.....
Cell phone and logbook were OK....
That's how it happens in the real world......

I bet the wreck did not happen in the last 2 days.

 

In todays world it doesn't matter.Officers has the power no matter what and will find a loophole to their advantage to the laws.

 

Do not get offended.

But, if you are not aware of the law and your rights, then you have no reason to be upset.

 

Cause the officer said, "Mind if I take a look in your vehicle?" And the person said yes, because they are intimidated of course. If they said, "No, you can't look in my vehicle." The cop would have to get a search warrant to look in it. Unless - he has a drug sniffing dog with him and he says the dog picks up drugs then he can look too, even if you say no.

 

Nope,3 years ago december,hit a stoner kid all dressed in black, walking in the right lane of I-90 at 10pm...

 

Who's upset just saying we have no rights Anymore Like we once did.

 

Goes back to the Patriot Act and the attack on NY.

All they have to claim is homeland security.
