Have u been idling alot mickimause? If u don't have any dash lights on you won't be able to do a manual regen, get SEM involved, if your not near an OC.

What did I do to piss you off today? Or are you just whining with the childish attitude that you have always displayed, especially for someone with 30 years of trucking experience? You seem to truly enjoy stringing some troll bait from time to time here and I guess you win buddy, you got a bite.

At no point did I ever mention it was possible to stop the 14 hour clock, I have absolutely no idea where you got that from, although I do remember some discussion about 8/2 split logging from other forum members which as I understand it can reset the 14 hour clock, but is of little use to me as its frowned upon our using it with SNI.

As far as judging my ability to maintain a truck, I've put a little over 70k miles on my truck since I first got it, and it has sat a total of zero minutes in any shop for anything other than PMs and any work that is done on the truck is done in my yard when I'm at home by me. You know exactly what I mean when I say it "burns" yet you still take it out of context and misconstrue it with no other reason than to just try to put me down.

From the start I know you have been watching this thread from the sidelines, giddy with excitement for that moment when I would throw in the towel just so you could come in and say "I told you so"... but nope, STILL HERE BROTHER!

I know it really gets to you that I'm being successful at something that you yourself admitted that you failed at. Oh man, I just KNOW it does... a young guy with a year and a half of experience can do it, but why can't I, with 30 years of trucking experience, why couldn't I make it work?? Drives you NUTS don't it.

You spout off about how you think I "make a living on less than I spend in fuel" when we both know #### well if that was the case this would have been over LONG ago. I don't like playing the numbers game here on the forum because of people like yourself, but the fact is the $10k in my savings, the $5600 in my maintenance account, all my bills paid, no missed payments, are proof enough that I AM making this work.

I'm glad you've "had it" with me, you can kiss my *** that kind of attitude.

Diesel it's not worth it. Many of our trucking friends seem to have issues.

No, I very rarely idle. I reset my dash thingy when I got the truck back from getting new injectors back in March, it says less than 300 idle hours as of last night. I don't have any except the amber "check engine" light, either.

DFO, your input is most appreciated, in this thread and others. I am glad you ignore naysayers. Keep it up!

Why are you being so negative ? I understand you have a right to your opinion but going back and looking seems you've always been a Debbie Downer .

With ALL LEASES " there are successful ones such as DFO and FAILURES . But that at any company . The beauty of the SNI deal is you can make your own CHOICE , Pick your own freight and go where you want to go . Not all Leases are the same the SNI lease IMO is a great option for someone who is ready to be a business owner .

No no need to bash on a thread that gives out information for others to see and learn from it's all information and informative and helps others .

Your attitude speaks volumes on how you view things or view opportunities

    DFO

That is precisely why I decided not to post numbers or do it frequently . You gonna have haters come out of the wood work to combat the facts and try trolling measures to combat things . Heck all I do is post a how to guide for orientation and get hated on .. lol .. :)

These guys are gonna come out of the wood work because your succeeding . Were I a time and day where people like to see failures and look forward to it .

Your a success .. So the hatred stems from jealousy and fear from
    the trolls .

    Keep on keeping on

Posting numbers for costs is OK I think, but I never talk rates in whole or by mile with anyone At best it invites criticism from anonymous fools that can't see the whole picture.

6 speed stated exactly where he is comfortable with his weekly income. I suppose if everyone was happy with that, nobody would step out and assume risk to try and improve on it.

If all you want to do is maintain a standard of living, you'll never improve your quality of life.
