I don't know how long their training is, but maverick runs automatics. They are primarily flatbed and since your knee is in bad shape I doubt you want to mess around with that, but they have other divisions; reefer, dry van, and I think they have started messing around with tankers (I'm not sure).
Their pay is decent and from what I've heard their home time isn't bad either. They might be worth calling for some more info.irishlad Thanks this. -
I looked into them think they want more exp than I have but will call them today!

More and more companies are going with automatics so that should not be a problem. And rider policies are easy to find. In fact, your girlfriend can ride with me anytime.

Maverick doesn't hire in fl sorry and they won't let gf ride. Only immediate family.

Bum knee, you only need the clutch when taking off and stopping. Do not need it to shift..
Auto lovers.. what are you going to do when you need a job that has a real tranny and clutchProlaznik Thanks this. -
Don't know about the rider program, but some companies with automatics or at least some of their trucks have automatics, are: Comcar, TransAm, Howard Transportation.

Check with Averitt Express, they have terminals in Jacksonville, Marianna, Orlando, Tallahassee, Tampa, and have autos.
