Four Star Freightliner has a dyno and they are just down the street from Lone Mountain if that is where you are buying it from. I think they are in bed together so I would take it to WW Williams in Albany. Make sure you remove the valve cover and inspect the valvetrain. Look for worn and damaged lobes on the camshaft. Cost me $2800.00 my first month because the NTP warranty does not cover it. Also have a blowby test done. This is the best way to check out the internals of the engine. These 2 things might cost you $300 but they will identify $20,000 worth of problems.
