Thats your fault for parking at places where someone knocks on your door. Right now I am in West Memphis and instead of parking at a truck stop filled with lizards and bums I park at shippers with truck parking even though im not even picking up there. Its quiet and safe.

I guess I should get up to speed on this. I have had a CCW in two different states and about to apply for my third. Good info, I will look into this, thanks!

Do you just lock it up in a lock box for those places?

I find having a 100 lb German Shepherd on the truck with me keeps the riff raff away. Funny how that works.
tangerineGT Thanks this. -
Depending on what state you have it in it might be good in about 34 other states. You don't have to apply to every state. Unless you travel a lot in the NE thats a whole other mess.

Yes, Alaska being second on the list does make it easier to find.

This:
NOTE: When you travel please be aware that this states require a verbal announce when confronted by a Law Enforcement Officer in an official encounter (a traffic stop is an official encounter):
Arkansas, Florida, Colorado, Louisiana, Michigan, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Carloina, Oklahoma, Ohio, South Carolina, Texas.
Alaska should be on this list. In Alaska you are required to immediately notify LEOs when confronted that you are armed.tangerineGT Thanks this. -
