I went through them when I got out of Truck Driver Institute in 2008. All the trainers I had where really nice and had no problems with any of them. Although once I got on my own, my first load had 3 stops on it. I took it and ran even though I thought they could've given me a 1 stop load on my first one.
One thing you really need to pay attention to is the directions on the Qualcomm. A lot of them do not tell you if it is north or south bound directions. So if it says, "Take exit 60 off of I-65 and make a Left Turn" you will have to find out if they are talking about southbound or northbound directions. I made a wrong turn into a neighborhood at 10pm barely getting out because of that. The best thing you can do is buy a good (not cheap) GPS. I love my Garmin. Easier to use than most I have used.
The reason I left is cause I was kicking and screaming for miles. Don't believe I ever got more than 1,600 in a week. After 8 months of that I quit and came home. Make more money at home than I did with them. That was in 2008 and 2009 though. So hopefully it has gotten better.
Good luck. -
Wish they had one in Lower Peninsula Michigan.
