CClass called it "spineless."I think thats worse than anything that can happen out on the road.[/QUOTE]

Yep, deekless, jello back teets on a bull stuff. Can't see much use for guy as a hand. Not exactly someone I'd want watching my back. Trust is one of main building blocks in a LTR.

The "what if" argument is moot here. We're not talking bout an abducted 6 year old off the playground....or are we?

    Hard but true......

Exactly! They both like it, to each his own. Oh the days of young love. Twenty years from now the only tracking you'll be doing is the skid marks in his underwear. Yep, he's been here! :)

Sometimes a man digs his own grave with his own creation.

My question is if he hooks up with a lot lizard does the little dot on the screen jump up and down? :biggrin_2559:

YA know, I don't know if it's the times, the technology, or the people now a day's. I don't have a facebook, but curious one day I asked 1 of my daughters who is 25 to go on hers to look up a few long time friends. read a post about him not feeling well, how he took a dump later, the results of it, e.t.c. this society wants to broadcast every minute of their life & know every second of everyone else's life in their network of friends.

I wish this same generation would be tuned in to every political decision made that affect's all our lives. the law's made, from the president on down. they care more about knowing what someone posted on their wall, then what the president just made law by executive order! just an ole fashioned guy here.

    Maybe.... Just maybe.....

she doesnt want her boyfriend to end up like some of the other truck drivers who die at the wheel and no one finds them for 2 weeks....

that at best would be using my brain.... Which seems to not be a prerequisite in this post....

    lol

Hi heavy, That's true, it's probably all about loneliness.(which is partially why I'm here) For some, finally they can talk to someone.(relax, you're not going to hear about my latest bowel movement)I tried the Facebook thing too, but in the short time I was on it, there were more fruitcakes than I cared to hear about,(guy in Wichita, who claimed to be a girl, and really had me going) and my daughter told me peoples lives have been ruined by that, so I pulled the plug. Now, if we can get a TTR dating site going, that would be great!( is there such a thing?):biggrin_25525:

I never tracked my Hubby, I did activate the GPS locator in his phone. That wouldn't exactly tell me where he was at, but it would allow the phone company to "find" him if something had happened. ( as in the nearest cell tower) He called me every night, to talk and let me know he was parked. After I lost my job ( and was looking for a new one), he would call so often I had to keep my cell phone plugged in most of the time. He wasn't keeping tab's on me, he just wanted to talk... half the time our conversation's ended with " Oh...Joe's calling" or "hey, Bulldog's callin'"..."love ya bye".

Everyone's different, I personally would never put a locator like that on his phone, cause to me it is a trust issue...I trust he's not messing around with other women and he trust's I won't shoot him. I would be ticked off if I found one on my phone, not that I do anything wrong, I just don't like the idea. The GPS locator is active in my phone, so if I get in a wreck or something, I can be found.

The fact that our bank tell's on me sometimes tick's me off and I'm the one that put the "There has been more than XXXX $$$ spent " alarm on our account. An ya wanna know how fast that work's??? $125.01 spent at Wally-World and I don't even get the last bag in the cart and the phone is going off.

I am quiet sure the lady in Colorado???? that was found a week later in a ditch would have been more than happy with a tracking device on her phone... Or even having a GPS locator.

It's a personal choice and as long as everyone involved is ok with it, then I see nothing wrong with them using it.

That's not the case at all.

Both of them know that the relationship is on the rocks. They dont like each other, but right now the both feel they need each other. She doesnt want him at home, but she wants to try to keep tabs on him. Her plan is to track his location, AND keep track of his phone coversations. His original plan was to be away from her a bit, because "absence makes the heart grow fonder" and he can still knock boots when he comes to town. But he will meet much nicer women, some who dont want him to perform stupid pet tricks on a leash. Then his next move will be to get one of those prepaid phones from Wally when he meets the nicer girl who doesnt nag him.

Her plan B for the throwaway phone is to watch his facebook account and email, and his truck routing, and when he 'friends' the new girl, she will know by her location. She will 'friend' the new girl too, who will unknowingly post everything about them both, giving OP the ammo she needs so that when her "loving man", who actually isnt much of a man, comes home she can scream accusations at him and cry and create drama, tell all of his friends and family what a dirtbag he is in an attempt to keep control over him. It will work for a while because he IS stupid, but one day he wont be young anymore, and he will kick her to the curb regardless.

And another sand castle melts into the sea...
