    Very interesting thing I am looking at right now. A Hispanic family living all together in their truck
    picking up a load here. A man,women and two little girls under 10 years old. And this is the new
    face of trucking! To subject those children to this type of living is.criminal. Not the first time I have seen this type of thing.

    When i was with covenant i saw 11 people and 2 dogs living in one of their trucks... 2 separate families...

    Okay just an update. One month is in the past. So far I'm very happy. First week was a little rough being a partial well but still ended up with 2500 miles. Other 2 weeks were 3100 to 3400. This week finished at 4200. First two weeks I was home a lot. Ran the last 2 weeks solid. So far so good. Keep getting shed what I want. Long load, shirt loads our home. First time I keep hearing this. May have found a career with a company that thinks like I do. I know as a business they need to make a profit but it's good to see they care about the driver just as much

    Here I am sitting at the yrd in Lawrenceburg waiting for my break to end so I can get rolling
    again. They offered me a bunch of different
    loads going all over the place. Nothing that great
    so I picked a load with a stop in Houston and the
    final delivery in Austin on Monday. If I had wanted
    to go home for the Holiday weekend I could have
    but I was just home last week so I decided to stay
    out for awhile longer. I am doing just fine here at
    SEC since I started working here in March. Everybody eat some Ribs , baked beans and
    corn on the cob for me. And dont forget if ya
    drink one to many beers let someone else do
    the driving....

    Im not sure which is worse. All those people living in one truck or you admitting in an open forum that you worked for Covenant.... ;)

    I'm home for the holidays. Was going to run but had a family member get very ill. So I'm home making bbq pork. Started it yesterday at around 7pm. Should be some good eating today. Happy 4th everyone!!!

    My wife and i went to their cdl school which at the time was a very good school. It was actually Harold Ive's school since covenant had just purchased them. We paid cash for it and drove for them 6 months which was what Interstate required before they would hire us.
