    Yea I guess you can as long as its part of your cargo but then I guess you should be leaving it in your trailer.
    Those laws are meant to sound confusing , but swing into a scale house and ask someone that has a badge once .

    He is gonna tell you "No" because you are in the cab of the truck with keys..

    Its kind of common sense , but hey there has to be someone somewhere willing to test it .
