Want to drive a truck but has a problem

    hello i am interested in driving trucks. i have love trucks since i was little and i feel like i can be an asset to the industry. the only problem is that i have a felony on my record. right now the charges are pending and in july i can file an expungement to get it off my record. my question is that is there any trucking company out there that would accept me into their company with that or would i have to wait to file before i can apply with a company? if there is a company that would accept me, which one could i apply to?

    There are alot of companies that will hire felons, you'll be prohibited from going to Canada, (no great loss) and you may not get a hazmat endorsement.

    What its for will play a lot into your hirability also.

    And on a side note if the charges are presently pending while you may "apply" for an expungement in July the odds of you "getting" it are very slim. Most courts wont grant an expungement until several years after the charges have been settled and you have had no other problems. Also if your placed on any form of probation you will have to wait until that's finished at a minimum. Its a little hard to wipe away someones crime while they are still being punished for it.

    ok i talked to cr england and my recruiter told me to fax her the paperwork so i can get into the training school. i know that crengland isnt the best as far as a driver's recommend for a company to work for but imma take what i can get for the time being. i am going to talk to swift also. so Otter what other companies would be willing to hire me based on my situation?
