I live in Virginia, swift has a terminal in Richmond.
I went with Schneider terminal in North Carolina.honeyandlovie Thanks this. -
Honey and Lovie, we are team drivers for Covenant in Chattanooga. We are in the reefer division and have done 2 loads in last 2 weeks from Cal to Gordonsville VA and then reloaded out of Richmond back to Cal. 5526 miles in 5 days both trips. You have to have your hazmat to run reefer here but it's easy to get if you don't have it.
Let me know if you have any questions. I'm Jim.honeyandlovie Thanks this. -
We are in Richmond, we hope to start our CDL class August 9. Been to orientation wtih 4cdl.com. We are OK with being on the road as much as possible. Our children are adults. We understand that we will start with a basic start pay.

I will most likely be hiring by the time you are done with your cdl school. I'm an O/O with swift and I'll have you running a target dedicated run out of Columbus. We have stores that we deliver to in va so getting home is usually not a big deal.
I'll pay my employees as W-2 with workers comp and you should have no problem earning about $1000/ week per driver. Send me a pm with your email if you are interested. Your post count is too low to reply to pm's so I'll email you back if you're interested. -
Wife and I team at US Xpress. Happy here.
They allow 1,500 watt invertor, allow pets & rider, teams get 2015 Cascadias and most important...... they allow us to idle the truck when it's above 70 degrees as much as we want.
No matter where you go....get on a dedicated account. That's where the $,$$$ is .Broccelli Thanks this.
