    Menomonie, Wisconsin. Delivered at 1400, next load doesn't pick up until 1700 tomorrow, 95 miles away. So me and my son got us a room, mainly so he can go swimming. Five weeks on the road, it's time for a night out of the truck and a little recreation other than fishing, frisbee and hand ball against the trailer.

    Bought a microwave yesterday, plugged it in, installed fried chicken from home, with fresh green beans, real mashed, fresh tomatoes. Wasn't worth shooting after. Hard to believe you can have hot food in a truck without wrapping in foil and laying on the engine, in just the right place.

    I just finished frying chicken, with mashed potato's and corn. I keep a microwave, a crockpot and an electric frying pan. I save a ton by cooking in the truck, Just need to be creative
