HTC eh...
Does it use the Sense flavor of android, or is it plain Jane? -
Seriously doubt it since HTC hasn't had a tablet in 2 years. And there last one was a flop.

So moosc your saying that no company can build a product for another company but yet not put their name on it? Companies do it quite often if i recall...prime example: Mitsubishi built the 3000gt for a certain american company that re-branded it as? or how about the Eclipse that was rebranded as the Talon? Just because it does not say HTC on the outside doesn't mean the hardware or software does't come from them. They built this because the
company made a deal with them i suppose. Maybe they did maybe they did not but i am just reporting what the program recognized this as. All in All
this tablet navigation is doing exactly what it is meant to do...Get me from point A to point B without getting me lost, ticket or shutdown. -
the eclipse was also the plymouth lasor. and eagle talon.
mazda 3000 was also the ford ranger.Tallman67122 Thanks this. -
Contemplating using my Galaxy Tab 3 for a my truck tablet. I have 2, both for my kids, but neither uses them. The two I have both have data plans with them.

Ok..last week I bought a truckers tablet from a buddy of mine that's getting out of the driving part of the business.
I using it Monday 6/16..I was very impressed with the recalculating(probably the fastest I've seen) on the routes and accuracy.
It gives you many options on routes and lets you customize them as well.
It has some nice little features as well..as most truck GPS's do..Truck stops, rest areas etc.
But one thing it does rather well is find out of the way places to park..which is nice for those crowded areas.
I bought it because the price was right(and it was new in the box) and wanted a back up for my laptop..I'm on Schneiders choice program so it's important to be able to connect.
Yes a smart phone will serve in a pinch but is a pain.
I'm still figuring out all it can do..but like it so far.
It could be a little louder when giving directions but I'll fix that with a external speaker.
Also the power cord wasn't anywhere near long enough.
Just wanted to say there are worse options for the money.Johnt4039 Thanks this. -
Yes This tablet was worth the $279 i spent on it. Had it for now a little over 3 months and in that time it has never routed me wrong and it has never frozen on me unlike another brand of navigation. I am now also using it as my dashcam while my navigation is up and running too. When i am done delivering to the reciever i transflo my paperwork using the tablet. Have not gone to a truckstop to use the transflo machine in a few months. When i get done for the night i will watch a movie on it or skype with the wife n kids. so much can be done on this Tablet.
