You don't know me well enough to call me a liar there bud, so maybe back up a little.
I can guarantee you that Cody is making more than $1k a week, and is home most, if not every night. He is just now 25yrs old, and got his CDL himself @1.5yrs ago. He didnt fall for the mega company BS to get his CDL unlike most on here, so that was a good start too.
Maybe the reason you cant get a gig like that is your attitude, a few accidents, speeding tickets, and so on? We dont know,.....

Get over it and realize, no one here with a very good job is going to spoon feed you the information so you can get a decent job too.
I will say however, that pretty much all the very good jobs involve some actual work, and not just sitting on your behind for 9-12hrs a day. I mean having to wear gloves, and maybe even get dirty! Shock horror.....

I wasn't even talking about you.
I was talking about the statements made by T_TRUCKER

Before you judge me, all I asked for is to please share what company pays $1200 a week for barely any experience.
I've researched companies for over a year, endlessly.. including on this website to see who pays what.
This site is for people to share their experiences and help one another.
When people make random statements and "guarantees" that are out of the norm how is anybody supposed to know if it's true? People could be misleading others, there could be recruiters on here making up stuff as well.

That doesn't make sense, if he was a recruiter, he'd gladly tell you the name of the company so he could recruit you. You're not going to find that money at a mega, you're going to have to sell yourself to get that high paying job that is above your experience level and work hard. Jobs that pay exceptionally well typically don't advertise as they have a waiting list.

You could probably get a $1200 a week job in Texas or North Dakota right now with less than a year experience. Awful lot of demand for CDL drivers around here anyway, especially if you have endorsements and a clean record.

Just an update on this situation. After I quit I got calls from USA truck regularly for 2 days. On the third day I finally answer to see what they wanted cuz I didn't tell anyone I quit I just got my things and hopped on a Greyhound bus after all my frustration . It was the terminal manager of Atlanta and he wanted me to come back and work out what my issues were. I'm having trouble finding a job anywhere else a year and a half ago I was cited for making a u-turn within 500 feet of a hill or curve and have been exiled from the trucking industry because of it no one will hire me they always refer back to that incident I don't know how long it's going to take for people to start looking at me again for employment, I live in an area of FL than most OTR companies don't hire out of as well, so for now USA is all I can get. They allowed me to take a few days off and come back to discuss my issues. They put me in a brand new international truck with a cab heating and cooling system. These two weeks since this incident I have been running pretty hard I can't say the pay is the best based on my experience of 4 years which I know is not a lot but in my opinion should be a little more than $0.36 however as my options are limited I'm taking what I can get. I have returned to usa truck and I'm now grinding it out. It may have taking drastic measures to get their attention but in the end USA attempted to write their wrongs so I will give them that credit.

Im curious is that the driver and trainer in the picture? Why weren't the in hand cuffs? (That lovely officer could cuff me anyday) They are very desperate for trainers The requirements are pretty laxed as well if youve been with the company for 6 months you can train.

I wouldn't do OTR if I didn't make $1200 per week on average. It's not worth it. I started at Crete 6 years ago in Sept, and have averaged that since my 1st year anniversary. I averaged close to $1000/week the first year right out of school.

Its not normal but I'll make over 1200 on this check. Milage plus per stop pay on 2800 mile trip and still will have 3 days to run. It can be done at a mega but you have to look at every option. Doing an account delivering to stores that are small, just started regional thing. Like the money hate store parking lots. Lol

The trainer was not driving, thus he only got fired.
The trainee did however end up in the back of the cop car, under arrest.
You can look it up on Sioux Falls,Sd police website deal.
