    Guys....
    I'm getting ready to be trained by USA Truck.
    What's their reputation?
    BTW...I've read elsewhere about going to a Truck Driver's School.
    I was looking at one near Waco, TX (I live in Dallas). They wanted $4000 cash or $5000 financed.
    USA Truck tells me they are charging $1700, with a one year commitment.
    What am I getting into? Are they a good firm?

    i am happy. ive been here a little over a year. went to school in newport AR. (very good people IMO) after paying my 45 a week for a year i got a check from the hiring co. for 720 making my total cost to go to school around 400.
    BUT REMEMBER THIS!!! THE CO. IS ONLY AS GOOD AS THE DISPATCHER YOU GET AND HOW YOUR ATTITUDE IS, WITH THEM AND LIFE IN GENERAL. THIS JOB ISNT FOR EVERYONE AND BEING AN OPTIMIST (AS I AM) HELPS TREMENDOUSLY
