Has anyone ever say have to move to another state within the month of passing the road test, because maybe another state had an easier road exam, in such case is anyone allowed to transfer CDL without the hard copy, and only with the interim, the temp paper copy?

Have you contacted the State you wish to move to and asked them? You do not say what state you are in or wish to move too so any answers would not hold any bearing because each state is different.

Transfer your CDL from another state [h=2]Requirements[/h]
- Complete any required testing.
- Sign a CDL surrender form before youre issued a Washington license with CDL.
- Complete the Self-Certification. If required, bring the documents youll need depending on the type of certification.
- If you surrender youre out-of-state CDL and dont get a Washington CDL at that time, youll be required to:
- Requalify for the CDL Certificate of Training, and
- Take the knowledge and drive tests.
- Pay the fees.
[h=2]Testing[/h]
You dont need to test or show your training certificate when you transfer a valid CDL except when you want to:
- Maintain the hazardous materials endorsement (HME): Pay fees and pass the HME knowledge test.
- Upgrade, add endorsements, or remove restrictions: Pay fees and pass a knowledge and drive test.

I had to run on a paper/temp license one time, was checked, no problem. You have to remember, most LEO's are people, too. Not all, but most.
