That's the thing, there are no signs on the one-ton. It's leased from me personally to my corporation. But because my friendly neighbor looked up my CA # and my corporate name (all which are public info just like when a someone goes on the FMCSA website to look up a motor carrier's record) he told code enforcement that it is a company truck and they ran plate # check to come up with the conclusion that it is a company truck. Like I said, it's in a gray area. Code Enforcement has to take the side of the complainant first.
Oh, yeah, my friendly neighbor also successfully filed a lien against the property of a neighbor across the street. But the guy is like a crazed Bulldog on a long leash.
Where do you park your rig?

Take 3 balloons fill them with roundup, then very late one night lob them high into the air over his lawn, in about 2 weeks ask your neighbor what those big dead spots are in his lawn, then ask him if he would like to now how to stop those spots from speading , when he asks how , tell him to stop being an $SS !!!!!

Most cities have codes concerning "commerical vehicles'.Motor homes ok,bobtails not. I have had letters sent to me from the city stating i am in violation of code , and sent me the actual copy of them. It stated that any vehicle with a name on the side was considered comerical , you know ur plumber, carpenter, comcast, courier service ect.....ask for a variance in code from city council.

Heh, too late, his lawn is already dead.

It does not matter here. The reason is, I was told that any vehicle that is leased or even rented to a company is considered a commercial/company vehicle. There are no exceptions

My neighbor gave them my CA# and that's how they found out I was an officer in a corporation, which led them back to the business license# from my wife's business.
Screw it, I'm about ready to get down the road and while I'm gone, I'll be hammering away the idea to my wife of buying out east of us and renting out the house here. She wants a bigger garden and her own "shop" anyways. Maybe it's time to live somewhere else with some property and no &%^#^^$# neighbors

No state income tax on the "dry side of the hill", some advantageous corporate law, and everyone has got acreage. Keeping your nose out of other peoples business is the state sport in Nevada. These were just a few of the reasons I fled California....another was the leftists running California.
Oh yeah, who is that in your avatar Ron? I've resisted asking, trying to remember, but alas I can't! -
Why it's none other then Agent Smith:

I was told by my friend of twenty years in trucking, I can drive it home or any where I want without loggung it, because I own it, it is considered my personal vehicle whenever not under a load? Pennsylvania??

I don't know, drive55cat, but you may be right. We were in a neighboring borough over the weekend, and I saw this guy parked in his driveway. His not-very-long driveway at that!

Also, there's a house about a half-mile from us that sometimes has a cab parked right in the front yard. (There are advantages to not having sidewalks sometimes.)
