On my 379, there is a leveling valve, about 1 ft in front of the driver side air bag. It is beneath the sleeper. Keep arms/hands clear of becoming trapped or smashed between the sleeper and frame if u decide to go tugging on lines.

Make sire that the linkage is hooked up on the leveling valve. If that looks good, verify that air pressure is going into the leveling valve.

Didnt want to start new thread regarding air bags on sleeper.
Has anyone else notice that the air bags on sleeper dont last to long ? Just replace another pair and there genuine according to peterbilt by "firestone"(Not TRP). Its my third pair in 6 years. Or is that normal ? btw, I keep up with the shocks. Also, I keep replacing almost yearly the cruise and clutch switches with the wiring under the dash as well. Nothing seems to last in parts anymore, but I Love my Pete.

That is the schedule I am on too. Roughly 24-28 months & be set to replace them. Would have thought they would have lasted longer as well.

OEM shocks are too soft and cab shakes too much... I replaced my cab shocks with Monroes and now I can barely move my cab up and down with hands. And ride quality way better.

That's a good idea Bertrand. I've been complaining about short lifespan of my cab air bags for a while now too. Original ones went like 5 replacement ones are like two years if I'm lucky.

Can you share the Monroe shocks part number ? I have a mid roof unibuilt, will that make a difference in the part number ?

You need OEM part # of your shocks. Then go to Monroe website... http://www.monroeheavyduty.com/catalog/interchange Click on "Catalog" then click on "Interchange".. Enter OEM part number and click "Search". I use Monroe 66145 on my unibilt ultrasleeper but you may need a different part #...

    EverLuc and RobHiler32 Thank this.
