At the Houston "terminal" for lack of a nicer thing to say about it. As usual, the people at the gate are unpleasant. At least my final is just a mile away from here.

 

Here in Lancaster for the night. Then off to Memphis

 

had pulled in a parking spot since there was to parking behind me.unfortunately, other trucks made their own and was a few blocking me from backing straight out. lucky for me, there was 2 open spots on left of me and had to blindside back out.

 

jenzie...theres a truckstop down the street from terminal. couldmve stopped there unless you had to go there. guys there always been nice to me. only problems there is no empties.

 

Any recent experience in El Paso regarding available freight? I'm headed there today from Phoenix with my student and hoping we get a stacked load out. Now that we are teaming we've lost three days since Friday, sitting and waiting for loads in Amarillo and Phoenix.

...just got stacked with a preplan from El Paso to Yakima, WA. Should be a good trek for my student.

 

Got a load yesterday in edwardsville, ks that delivers in denver, co. The load only had 10 pallets total weight was 3,000 pounds

 

Lol,oh yeah...he will learn a lot going from El Paso to Yakima ......get em tiger!

 

home for my 2 days off, sitting here planning my anniversary coming up in August and decided on a place to take my wife, those that have heard of "Madonna inn" near the beach in CA is a place my wife has been wanting to stay at for years where every room is custom with its own theme, I might have to sacrifice a few days off coming up to get a decent amount saved since I want to give her a nice anniversary this year, normally we have kept it pretty cheap but this year im at least in a better position financially and plan to fork over about $600-800 on plans.

 

sapp bros. here peru il. doing my 30 min break. gona run to flying j in indianapolis in for my 10. should get me about 580 miles today. run the erest tomorrow. said i be at final in midway tn at 1800, but mite be there earliwer which is ok since i have all day to drop it. no issues so far. winds calmed down abit. but sure is cooler
