I received an email from my recruiter that my file has been put on hold by the Knight Transportation safety Director. What does that mean exactly? My drug test and physical both passed, I'm a non drinker/smoker and my Driver's Abstract is clean as a whistle! I do however tip the scales at 340 lbs and use a CPAP machine for sleep apnea...could that be the cause?

I wouldn't think so. I have a good relationship with all past employers with excellent reviews and letters of recommendations.

Never under estimate a disgruntled past employer... There are some out there who will smile shake your hand and stab you in the back at the same time...

    Joetro and BrianE Thank this.

just depends on what the company put on it... There are some companies out there that like a little child get mad when you leave the company feel you slap them in the face for leaving so they figure if you don't want to work here where to make sure you don't work anywhere else... Let's just hope it some kind of minor clerical issue and nothing bad but you can go to USIS.com and order a copy of your dac report for free if you have any doubts.

If they have, it's time to lawyer up. Most reputable companies nowadays will not say anything bad about a previous employee that they can not prove for fear of lawsuits.

I just sent in a request for my free DAC report. Should have it in about 15 days...I should hear more from my recruiter tomorrow as well.

Why don't you ask them why?
