I know Interstate is pet-friendly, but also charges a non-refundable $750 pet fee. My question is this: Do they give you some kind special identification when you pay that fee, such as a sticker on your badge or truck that says you have registered your pet?

    Thanks

Exactly, Charli Girl. It's a bit excessive. My dog won't even do $50 in damage, he just lays there like a slug.

That's just offensive! I've never heard of that before! I've leased luxury townhouses before that didn't require that!!! Holy smokes!

Some give a sticker and some a pet permit.Interstate is a bit excessive for a pet deposit. There's many companies that charge between$250.00 and $500.00.

My last company had a pet deposit and I told them I had two dogs. They never asked for the money nor did I volunteer it. I still turned the truck in spotless, vacuumed, shampooed, the works. $750 sounds excessive and a money grab. You need to look for other money grabs. One usually leads to another.

Yeah, I'm not willing to fork over $750 unless I absolutely have to. I was just wondering how difficult it would be to "hide" my pooch. The only people that would enter my truck would be the techs and I don't know if they are taught to look for signs of a pet or not.

How big is your baby? Mine is only 3lbs but won't let anyone near my rig! But I give her a certain command when I go to the showers n she doesn't make a peep until we get back to the truck! She smells like oatmeal bath all the time , thanks to the Pilot!! Hee Hee

He's 30 pound Jack Russell. I guess you can say he's a Jumbo Jack.

Companies need drivers so bad these days - just see if that is negotiable.....hey, I will drive your truck but $250 is the best I can do on a pet deposit and that is what the other company I am looking at charges but I would rather drive for your company.
