If I was waiting on him to back up so I could go do whatever I needed to I would.
I've thought about moving trucks that are parked at fuel pumps due to selfish xxxxxxxx only thinking of themselves while they shop or chat inside not even considering anyone else needs to fuel and go. But that's another topic

I have before and would again provided the drivers seat didn't smell like a sack of unwashed buttholes.

I'd do it if a driver asked unless his truck looked like the city dump inside

right there with you, it pisses me off so much, just the other night I stopped at Loves in Santa Nella to get fuel and sat waiting for a pump to open for about 20min and then I got fuel and had to wait another 10min even after I was done fueling for the xxxxxxx in front of me to leave so I could leave. I can see going in and getting something to eat, take a pee but to sit there for that long taking their breaks? grrrrrrr I take my break at rest areas or the stores I deliver to and if its during the day and I stop at a truck stop I park in a parking spot, #### lazy arse drivers out there!

It is a sad little testament to our society that the fear of lawsuits and the overall atmosphere of "I don't care about other folk so long as I get mine" attitude has become so prevalent.

I enjoy helping other people. I work very hard to get along with everyone because I don't see the need to become another jerk in a long line of jerks. Everything moves along smoother when people band together to get something done. Some of the dweebs who'd rather watch another person struggle don't realize that often times, they're just adding to the problem.

"Man! My delivery took a long time! Had to wait for some other driver to get bumped to the dock, took them 45 minutes! They must have been some dumb rookie or something!"

"Did you stop to think for a moment that maybe you could have assisted them in some way? Maybe spotted and given them some pointers? No, of course not because you felt it would be better to sit there and watch so you could have something to complain about".

It happened to me in Deleware one time. I was in my first week of going solo and another Werner driver asked me. I did it for him :)

That's a funny question because if you were the driver who was not able to back into the dock, and you allow another driver to do something and he/she damages that truck, it isn't the driver who damaged the truck who is on the hook for it, but you.

That should be incentive enough to learn how to back into a dock.

If I put it in the door for every driver there would never be a backup of trucks waiting. Someone from my company asked me to do it and I just stood on their stair step and walked them through it.

I had to stand a guys stair step to help him pull out of a tight parking spot. Only had been driving six months and he saw me in my USA Truck truck. I got him out though when he finally listened

There are shippers/receivers that I would gladly pay $10 just to avoid the hassle. Especially those little mom/pop warehouses where you have to back in blindside from an alley with cars parked along the street with your dock surrounded by a dumpster on one side and a light post on the other.

    I freakin' hate West Covina.
