I'll increase the tire allowance to 6cpm cents a mile. Good point on the taxes don't know what to allocate for that

Yeah.. i kind of am thinking about driving till I fall over dead. Actually, Ihave some retirement funds already set aside for that. Thought about 1 hotel room a week @ 100 a night for 50 weeks. Doesn't seem out of the ball park.bstadele Thanks this.

You have to have a fein number to get a tag in GA, other states may be different idk.

Insurance looks high, but I don't do refer. Mine is $7,500/year w/o physical damage.
Licenses/Permits/fees look low. I'm over $5,000 and haven't started rolling yet.
Fuel looks high, but I don't know how much the refer uses. I ran around 50cpm for the last 250,000 miles as a company driver in a dry van
Lodging looks very high, but if you want to stay 1 night/week in a nice place, ok. I usually go for the $40-75 cdl specials.
Communication looks low. Cell phone + voice + data + laptop + scanner/printer + efax account
19cpm maintenance (with tires) seems high for a truck & trailer costing 28cpm in financing
I didn't see:
Parking
tolls
Compliance costs (dot inspections, drug testing, etc)
Memberships (OOIDA, NASTC, etc)
Accessories (CB, gps, inverter, fridge, microwave, etc)
Bad debt, factoring, etcLast edited: Jul 4, 2014

Wile we are in the subject CPM does anyone can recommend there favored fuel card and why , I have very good credit and need to apply to one but don't want my credit to be run several times so I need your help , I am using cash for now

A $7k reefer? Better plan on spending twice that on repairs the first year.
Unless you plan on expanding I wouldn't bother with the LLC even for tax reasons for just you. -
What type of wi-fi you use or hot spot , I found one call Freedompop that it is very highly rate it .

Most reliable that most of my drivers use is Verizon. I think all are hot spotting off their smart phones. I have seen just about every option in the past couple years and most come back to Verizon. The added expense is worth the decreased frustration.
barnmonkey Thanks this. -
I'd second Bill's comment on the reefer. You need to add reefer fuel; mine is usually average .07 per mile but I haul quite a bit of dry freight during certain times of the year. Reefer maintenance also; at a minimum you're going to have PM's at around $100 a pop, I do mine every 2000 hours. If you buy a cheap reefer you will likely have higher costs to maintain it and I can tell you from experience there is not one part on a reefer that is cheap. My opinion would be to spend a little more up front on the trailer.
RGRTim and BigBadBill Thank this.
