Looks like someone used to pull RR wagons. Years ago, I always pulled the "johnny bar" when leaving a truckstop or dock with RR trailers, as I had heard of stories of drivers pulling the 5th wheel latch on trucks pulling those.
I just had truck sabotage this morning

This just happened to me tonight. The mount on the trailer for electrical lines and air lines got popped off by what looks like a screwdriver. Except i did piss some one off and we parted ways with me telling him to go #### himself.

many many many years ago, i was parked in a rest area for the night and some one turned my reefer off. to be honest it was a really loud reefer, on the other hand no one was by me when i parked.

I agree, Joetro, there's nothing funny about rendering the service line non-operational, even in sarcasm (might give some weirdo an idea). I did however have an argument with an old friend, turned enemy, (long story)and while I wouldn't waste even a quarter on that, I did think of putting a piece of cardboard in his red trailer line, then he just wouldn't be able to move. (think of the hassle it would be to find out why the trailer brakes won't release) But, never did.Joetro Thanks this.

Was it disconnected or cut?
If it was disconnected, I would not give it 5 minutes worth of thought.
That is an easy pre-trip catch. -
I'm tellin' y'all it's SABATOGE!!!
-
Sabotage would be dumping DEF in the fuel tanks or slashing the tires (especially inside duals, where it might not be spotted as quickly).
An unplugged cord, whilst rude, isn't something to get bent over.
