    I didn't know you were IC, but yeah I had their policy for that cause it's dumb ppl use line 4 all the time when on a load so why do they say Schneider ppl can't

    AR.......If you like running hard you might have a little trouble adjusting to hanging around tank washes.....

    After almost every load you have to go to a tank wash... They try to swap you to a tank that's already washed but we all know how that goes .........

    Also there will be some loads that you won't get loaded till late afternoon and go like 300-350 miles away . And deliver am the next morning .....

    Line 5, Personal Conveyance, varies from company to company if they make it available to you. The small company I work for allows company drivers to use it for a specific duration, distance, location, and equipment (bob-tail only, no trailers).

    as an IC with SNI your not supposed to use line 5 if you are under a dispatch (whether or not you have a trailer attached) you can only use it if you are responsible for nothing other than your truck..... no trailer no pre assignment no current assignment etc.

    I am a company driver with Superior Carriers. We are allowed to use line 5 bobtail for meals or hotel. I dropped a tank at the tank wash to be cleaned so it was OK. I would never do that with a loaded trailer unless at a terminal. Schnieder is restrictive.

    I don't get it why you all talking about it if Schneider has e-logs? Sorry if it's a stupid question- I've never worked for a company with e-logs so i don't know

    Line 5 can be done on e-logs if the computer gives the option but company driver for Schneider doesn't have the option

    on elogs theres a line 5 driving off duty for when your not under dispatch so you can drive your truck like an automobile as long as you have time on your 14 it don't count against 70 or 11
