We will see what happens here, my first priority is getting the truck fixed so I can get back into making money, by the time this thing is over I will have lost 3 weeks that I should have been making money.
-
With the threat of criminal action and involving the news media you could negotiate a brand new loaded truck of your choice.
-
Eh that would be blackmail.
-
Unless a laywer does it.
Then it is "using the law" to it's fullest.
281ric Thanks this. -
Watched the vids and could see the attorney I use really filing the paperwork if it had been my truck. Actually I use two lawyers occasionally. they are brothers. One likes to play the negotiating thing at first, and then when things don't move well, he gets his brother involved, who chomps at the bit to destroy someone. One of these guys was former president of the Iowa trial lawyers association and the other was president of the contract lawyers association. I have gotten a couple of issues cleared up pretty quick when I put the Caldwell brothers to work. Each time, things went a little slow when Gilbert tried to negotiate, but once he got Randy involved, we had a settlement in 48 hrs.

No it ain't, it is called negotiation of a settlement. It is legal and you have that choice before you go to court.

I think a litigator is needed here. You have significant damage and footage documenting the fraud. I would look for a litigator, and go from there. At this point you need legal representation. LKQ corporate is going to come at you hard. It would be nice to think that corporate would own this, clean house, and make you whole, but that likely only happens if you have legal representation.
Someone like cowpie described is who you're looking for. A negotiator foremost, trial atty should negotiations fail. Good luck.Last edited: Jul 20, 2014

I am calling OOIDA tomorrow to see if they want to sink their teeth into this one.

Good they need to fix your truck and pay for lost wages emotional distress and Lawyers fees. Take a screwdriver and put a hole in it what the heck is that BS they obviously did not want to work and should be out of a job since they dont want to work anyways. Even if the carrier bearing was able to cause this their installer should have caught it on first install failer to inspect and fix items around and connected to part is a improperly installed part.
