Currently am a student @ Roadmasters in SA, Tx. living in Houston. About to start my 2nd week of driving, grad date is 07/31 have Ori. setup w/ TMC on 09/08 can't wait to get into OTR and the rest of it. Did my background search for TMC and lurked around this board for the last 6months or so. Seen a few other boards liked the feel and member response time here.

Been in good comm. with Gus the recuriter over @ TMC. Saw a few of the threads on Ori over there @ TMC, I've talked to a few old timers around the school house here got some info on the industry, but more info is better IMO any tips I can get on saving time between stops, good places to stop in seldom driven shipping lanes, time frame to receive TWIC; overall any info I can get on getting to make it easier on myself, and a way to better increase my efficiency overall.

    Thanks in advance
    Joe

Joe, I'll be attending roadmaster in SA in April when in get out. Got any info or breakdown on what to expect you can give me? I'm pretty #### excited to go there. I talked with Bruce there and he seemed pretty legit and straight forward.

Class and all the info they give is great long as you apply it all you'll pass. Geroge the instructor for the classroom portion is a bit long winded but all in all it was good time. Only monday - thursday is class all straight forward, don't sweat the test long as you read the book and pay attention it is an easy pass to get your permit out of the way During the week while you there you'll have company's coming in catering lunch they've got good HR response when you submit in ap through the school to get a job for you. Don't just wait for the recuiters to come by go on here or use the web to get a job. I am in the 2nd week of driving almost all the instructors are top notch. Nice and smooth sailing in few weeks I still have to pass my tanker, doubles/triples, hazmat (can't get hazmat till you get license) and then apply for my TWIC.
