My husband never refused a load, NEVER!!!! He would actually get stuck at home. He would call the day before he was ready to get back on the road to let them know he needed a load. He would get stuck at home for 2-3 days cause they could not get him a load. That was not his fault. IT TOTALLY SUCKED. He knew not being on the road was costing him the truck payment at least!!!! I would love to post his settlements so you could see he was making the miles but when all the costs came out he was making maybe $200 a week if he was lucky!!!!!!!! A couple weeks (the weeks they could not get him a load when he was home) he owed the company money!! The truck payment in itself was $400 A WEEK!! GAS is outrageous and it was not as high as it is now. They nickel and dime you to death with so many fees and charges it is crazy.
His trainer was only making 500-600 a week and that was team miles!! It just doesn't pay.
Grandma Debi did the CR England lease thing with Virgil

Sorry I questioned you, I almost fell into there trap last week and decided against it after reading all the threads about CRE here.

Lease pay is .90 cents mile
5mpg at 1000 miles = 200 gallons X $4 gallon = $800
1000miles X 90 cents a mile = $900
That leaves $100 left over to pay everything else.
Now you explain to me how you can possibly make ANY money doing this.AfterShock Thanks this. -

The close family and friends can track where she is on the England web site...
She and Virgil are still doing it in the Big White CRE England Truck. So far no repairs and they drive a lot!!! She says some of what is said on the web here is true but she wants to answer that for herself.
The lease is for 2.5 years ---YIKES?---
She still likes CRE gets plenty of loads and is more than paying the bills and she still likes Virgil too sooooooooooooooooooooooo so far so good!
Happy Sunday!
Love in Christ Jesus!
