Actually Orcen, I'm not. Trimac and Wheeler pay more. I just have no interest in hauling fuel. Why would anyone lie about something you can just verify over the radio or with a phone call? So who do you work for? How much do you get paid? Are you one of those guys that straps and tarps for free and gets paid by the mile? You probably don't get a 2k raise every year either do you?
-
Some of us make a lot more than that in BC...
Hey Prairie Boy, have seen a lot of your trucks up here this past week, where you hauling? -
As a company driver?
I doubt it. -
When I first moved to BC from Ontario I was basically forced to work for them just to get some money coming in immediately. They hired me on the spot after a shady interview. Did 1 run to Princeton and told them to go #### themselves.
This was only a year ago, and they didn't pay for chain ups, highway waits/breakdowns, line ups at the mill...
We aren't talking dangerous goods, we're talking chips and ore, $80k seems a little drastic, but whatever.
Good for you, buddy.

Maybe I should put my truck on with Arrow, according to thelongwalkers payscale I should clear half a mill a year with them.

Yeah as a company driver, mid thirty per hr, 100% pavement, home every night, 6 days on 3 off, dedicated truck, no greasing or wrenching I do wash it once per shift though... I'm getting spoiled. -
Oh, maybe your sucky attitude is holding you back from a really good job, just sayin.
