What a way to go. Very sad.

Well, I gave him credit for driving a truck at 77 years old, but one of the cardinal rules of driving a dump truck, is never stand or walk behind a dump truck.
CondoCruiser and Lepton1 Thank this. -
Condolences to the family. I'd rather god like that then die of nothing.

That is a strange one. RIP driver.
It had to be a long dump. Yeah you never walk behind one. Peak around the corner at the most. Then there is the risk of it falling over. My bed is coming down most of the way before I walk back there. Landfills are unstable ground.
Pops must of loved working. Some rather than retire. The dirt had to be contaminated or the article is off. Usually dirt is recycled at a landfill from one cell to the next."semi" retired Thanks this. -

Walk WIDE behind that trailer if you need to check for complete load dump. Might have been in a spot where walking wide was difficult, we don't know. RIP driver."semi" retired Thanks this.
